In the first quarter of 2023, the top Maps and Navigation applications in Angola exhibited a range of performance trends. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into weekly downloads and active users for the top five apps on a unified platform.

Yango — different from a taxi saw a peak in weekly downloads in late January, reaching approximately 38K. However, downloads declined steadily, ending the quarter at around 15K. Active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at about 81K in early February and dropping to approximately 68K by the end of March.

Yango Lite: light taxi app experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, with a high of roughly 14K at the end of January, and a low of around 6.8K in mid-March. Active users peaked at nearly 38K in late January and maintained a relatively stable trend, closing the quarter at approximately 35K.

Heetch - Ride-hailing app had a consistent download rate, averaging around 10K to 11K weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Active users saw a steady increase, starting at about 52K in late December and reaching nearly 58K by the end of March.
